BAKED APPLES
Fill in the missing kitchen verbsIf you're tired of the same old deserts, we have something for you.
0:05First up, the nuts.
0:08Even if they came from a nice clean package.
0:10Let's be real.
0:12They've probably been on a bit of a journey.
0:18So your walnuts a rinse under cold water,
0:21let them chill on a paper towel, then gently
0:23 them with another one.
0:30It's like a walnut spa day,
0:32just shorter.
0:37If they're not already chopped.
0:38No worries.
0:40You can either them a rough with a knife,
0:42or them into a blender for just a few seconds.
0:46We're aiming for small, crunchy pieces,
0:48not walnut dust.
0:52It's time to build the flavor.
0:54 with one and a half teaspoons of sesame seeds
0:57and one teaspoon of cinnamon.
1:01The kind that makes your
1:02whole kitchen smell like a cozy cafe.
1:09Now for the magic touch.
1:12 in three tablespoons of honey.
1:14Yep, the good stuff.
1:16Golden. Sticky.
1:18And the reason this whole filling is about to become irresistible.
1:24 it all together
1:25until the nuts are coated and glistening like candy.
1:29If you find yourself accidentally taste testing, no worries.
1:32That's the chef's tax.
1:35 four medium apples.
1:37Red? Green? Yellow? Spotted?
1:39Pick your favorite.
1:41 off the top, then grab a spoon and out the middle
1:45like you're making a little apple hot tub.
1:50If you've got a melon baller,
1:51now's its moment to shine.
1:58Gently your hollowed apples into the air fryer basket
2:02like you're tucking them in.
2:07Now that sweet walnut filling and it in generously.
2:12Don't be shy...
2:13Give each one a good scoop.
2:22And for the final touch,
2:24a slow of honey right on top.
2:28It's not just dessert.
2:30It's dessert with a little sparkle.
2:37 your air fryer to 180°C and for 13 minutes.
2:43Make sure the tops of the apples don't touch the heating element,
2:46or you might get some caramelized charcoal chic.
2:52Now that they're perfectly baked,
2:54we'll let them for 5 to 10 minutes.
2:57In the meantime, let's move on to the best part.
3:01That rich, cheesy topping.
3:04 a wheel of Camembert.
3:06Soft, creamy and honestly, a little extra.
3:10 the top with a crisscross pattern like you're
3:13unlocking some fancy cheese treasure.
3:16Then it off with a light of honey.
3:19Because why stop now?
3:24If your Camembert
3:24came in one of those little wooden boxes, the bottom in foil
3:29just to keep anything from sticking, burning, or turning into a mess mid bake.
3:36Then it in at 180°C for about 10 minutes,
3:41until it's beautifully melty and bubbling like a cozy cheese volcano.
3:48Just look at that!
3:50That Camembert is officially ready for action.
3:54All right. Everything's ready!
3:56Take a look at a baked apples, golden, soft
4:00and stuffed with sweet cinnamon coated nuts.
4:06 a spoonful of that molten Camembert
4:08and it right on top of each apple.
4:12Absolutely delicious!
4:14 it as a dessert, a sweet snack,
4:17or if you're like me, it's breakfast.
