Paragraph 1 — A New Job

Daniel wants a new job. He wants to work for a big company, so he decides to apply a job online. He admires his father his honesty and hard work. His father always says, "Believe yourself and keep trying!" Daniel sometimes argues his brother because they have different ideas. They sometimes argue money, too. One day, Daniel borrows a book his friend Laura. He discusses his plans her. Laura is happy to help him his job application.

Paragraph 2 — A Day in the City

On Monday, Daniel leaves the city early for his interview. Laura introduces him the manager. Daniel feels nervous, but he believes himself. During the interview, the manager tells a funny joke. Daniel laughs the joke. Later, he sees a man staring a large poster in the street. The poster shows a magician who can turn a rabbit a hat! Daniel thinks this is funny. He goes home and discusses the interview his family. They believe him and tell him to stay positive. Daniel is happy because he has tried his best.
